The Business Office staff is dedicated to providing an outstanding educational environment for all students, teachers,support staff and administrators in the Parma City School District.
The School Board’s members premise of "Safe, Warm and Dry" has been the major motivational factor in the accomplishment of approximately 44 million dollars in facility improvements over the past five years.
The functions of the Business Office includes the real estate management of 23 facilities, with a total square footage of 2,140,314 on 348 acres with the building and contents insured for $261,174,160; renovations, alterations, and construction projects; maintenance and repair of buildings and grounds; custodial and cleaner support; bus transportation; food services; monitors; clerical services and managing energy conservation.
These functions are accomplished through the day-to-day efforts of a dedicated support staff, working to provide an atmosphere to meet the Superintendent’s academic goals as supported and established by members of the Board of Education.
The Business Office budget for 2007-08 was approximately $11 million dollars.
